Hi Uwe,

looking at install_log file, the problem is that 2009.06 AI image
(based on build 111b) was used to install build 125 - excerpt from
log file:

...
<OM Nov 7 19:52:53> Installer build version: FMRI:
pkg://opensolaris.org/entire at 0.5.11,5.11-0.125:20091014T044127Z

<OM Nov 7 19:52:55> Target build version: FMRI:
pkg://opensolaris.org/entire at 0.5.11,5.11-0.111:20090518T052643Z
...

Installer created ZFS root pool which is incompatible
with 2009.06 release - this is why you ended up in GRUB prompt.

If you want to install 2009.06 release, please use 2009.06 AI image -
one can be picked up from following location:

http://dlc.sun.com/osol/opensolaris/2009/06/osol-0906-ai-x86.iso

Or if you want to install build 125, then you need to modify your AI
manifest in following way:

* use development IPS repository instead of release one:

<main url="http://pkg.opensolaris.org/release"; authname="opensolaris.org"/>
->
<main url="http://pkg.opensolaris.org/dev"; authname="opensolaris.org"/>

* make sure that build 125 is picked up from development IPS repository:

<pkg name="entire"/>
->
<pkg name="entire at 0.5.11-0.125"/>

Best regards,
Jan
