FYI, the last of the 'pending' tests for Install functionality as of the last release (2009.06) checked into the gate last Thursday. This means that all of the suites necessary for regression testing are now 'official'. We've still got the issue of establishing regular regression test runs on every build, but in the interim contact me if you need information on obtaining/running these suites. In limited cases QE will take on the execution cycle (as we will for the python 2.4->2.6 changeover).
The test suites are in the 'closed source' tree at the moment but will be migrated to open-source as we get the chance. Regards, Andre
