I have a sparc machine running a minimal version of OpenSolaris b125
(not Nevada b125).
I also have the build 127 repository available.

What I do *not* have is an x86 machine to install OpenSolaris and set up
as a depot server.

These machines are on a closed customer network which cannot be
connected to external networks.

Is there a way for me to install the packages from the build 127
repository without the use of a depot server?

Can I set publisher to be a network accessible filesystem and install
packages that way? Or can I somehow just do a pkg install by pointing
directly to the package?

Once I can get one machine installed with sufficient packages to be a
depot server then I won't have this problem, but right now the only way
I can get OpenSolaris on sparc is using the image from
http://alexeremin.blogspot.com/2009/11/opensolaris-sparc-snv125-livecd.html

This provides me with a minimal opensolaris system, and at home I can
then point this to the dev repository on opensolaris.org and
update/install without a problem.

On the customer network I need the repository, or a means to install
sufficient packages to allow me to set up a machine as a depot server.
Can this be done?

Cheers
Frank
