There are a number of bugs on d.o.o tracking the need to implement more 
configuration options.  You can add yourself to the CC list of any that 
are of particular interest.

The bootable image capability is orthogonal to any of those 
capabilities, and thus doesn't provide any further capabilities in the 
manifests.
