General:
- November 2008 release
- SPARC support
November 2008 release:
- There are 73 open bugs
- One blocker (4552 - Add AI documentation to SUNWinstalladm-tools)
- 2 P1, 19 P2, 44 P3 and 8 P4 (68 bugs + 5 enhancements)
- Release note filed for bugs 4246, 4488, 4575, 4166, 4300, and
6464201. If there are any other bugs to be in the release note, Send
them to Pallavi.Madhusudhan at sun.com
SPARC Support:
- AI image (DC team will lead this effort)
- installadm tools (mainly no menu.lst)
- Add more data in to DHCP or use a file similar to menu.lst and
retrieve from AI SMF service.
- AI engine (No fdisk, only slices)
- Liborchestrator and libti (No fdisk, only slices)
- AI webserver and associated freeware (available on SPARC? any
changes required)
- Supporting client boot options (boot net, boot net - install etc.)
- Any other assumption in the code regarding X86 like VTOC is inde
Solaris partitions or hard-coded number of slices

- Other things specific to SPARC
Plan for the next few weeks:
- Keep an eye on on the new bugs filed. Quickly determine whether
it is a stopper independent of the Priority or Severity of the bugs
- Start working on AI for SPARC
