Some of the things I believe the AI client redesign
should include are -
1. Provide a smoother user experience. Specifically
in terms of the following -
a) predictability around slice/partition editing
features
b) predictability around default disk selection
c) better progress and error reporting
d) implementing (or considering to implement) a
more complete set of features such as allowing
setting of keyboard type, allowing a dry run mode
and support for multiple disks
2. Provide the ability to customize an install based
on a profile that is built on-the-fly (like a derived
profile). This would also include revisiting the
design wrt to whether the intelligence should be on
the server side (as it currently is) or it should be
on the client side instead.
Is there anything else that should be included in this
work that I may have missed?
