Hi,

We have fixed some of the major bugs in the last week in AI and we
are able to install OpenSolaris with out any manual workaround on the
client side. Please give it a spin. Since all our changes didn't make it
to the IPS, the building AI image requires lot of hand-holding. We are
hoping that we will have a cleaner and simpler build process in a week
or so.
The image is located at
/net/indiana-build/export/home/sundar/ai_image_100a_tip318.iso. The
server tools package SUNWinstalladm-tools can be downloaded from
/net/indiana-build/extrapool/nightly_builds/100/slim_source/packages.
The instructions for setting up the AI install server and install
service is available at
http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/caiman/auto_install/AI_install_server_setup.html.

See the attached message from Jan Damborsky for additional notes on the
image.

With the default setup, AI will install on your first available Solaris2
partition. You can setup your custom manifests. There are some bugs
preventing custom manifests work. We are fixing them and we will have
custom manifests working pretty soon.

Thanks,
Sundar
