  Sounds like an RFE now :)   You're looking for a feature that isn't there.

  The AI docs[1] point out one may need to add a dhcp macro and the examples
   show it to have http://$SERVER:5555/export/macroroot/snv_106_sparc and
   not like: http://SSERVER:5555/export/macroroot/0:14:4f:e5:fb:50

  I'd suggest you log an RFE since this feature isn't in AI today.
