Hi Barbara -

Moriah and I have completed the review of the introduction of the
Distribution Constructor Guide. Here are our suggestions....

P.5 Para.1 - Is the term advanced really applicable? It could be
removed. The idea that you must be advanced to use the tool seems a bit
intimidating.

P.5 Para.5 - Under the heading "What is the Distribution Constructor?".
The second paragraph is somewhat hard to follow. Here is a
suggestion.... add to the
end of the first paragraph, after "...based on the generated ISO image.
" the following:

These images are bootable. They can be installed on a system or can be
run in a live media environment. An ISO image is burned to a CD or DVD.
A USB image is copied to a flash drive.

P.5 - P. 6 Para 7 - The second sentence. Instead of saying "selecting
and adding additional packages to the image", it is more accurate to say
"adding additional packages to the image."

P.6 - The section "How does the Distribution Constructor Work?". This
section can really be deleted. It is redundant to the next section, and
it seems to be somewhat confusing.

P. 6 - Promote the "Components of the Distribution Constructor" Heading
to the same level as "What is the Distribution Constructor?".

P.7 Para 10 - (The sentence beginning, The manifest file references...)
Refer them to the sample manifest file.

P.7 Para 11 - Switch the two sentences around. This makes the
information more clear.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact either Moriah or me.

thx,
