The following documents for the OpenSolaris 2009.06 release are
available for review:

These documents cover the snap upgrade project.
There are minimal changes to these documents. We did revise them to
reflect the SPARC
support. And, we added a new section for the new Package Manager
functionality that
enables you to manage boot environments from the Package Manager GUI.
(But, we're been focusing
our attention on the automated installer and distribution constructor
documents, which have major
revisions.)
FYI, we're planning to create an "Installation Topics" wiki page that
will provide links to specific
installations topics covering auto install, distribution constructor,
installer, snap upgrade, and so on.
This wiki page will link to the main topics in this "Managing Boot
Environments" document.
This Installation Topics wiki page is still in development.
Please send me your feedback about the two documents above by the end of
March. And, look for further
install documents coming out for review over the next few weeks.
