You know, two minutes after I hit send I went and looked and saw that it
was actually available in the repos.  I did know that the Toshiba
preinstall images used it, but I was (mistakenly) under the impression
that it was a 'special' for them at the time.

Yeah, I actually missed that mail from Sundar/Ethan in the churn we've
seen lately on caiman-discuss.  I've found it in my archives and will
definitely be reading up on it.

As I said, if it's available, we can make use of it.  Ideally it's as
simple as just including that package in the list of packages to install
and then it just 'does the right thing' upon first boot (as is done for
the Toshiba preload images).  Which makes it much easier for us to
incorporate it (basically a docs blurb to include the package in the
client manifest).

Of course my team will need to investigate that naturally.
