Hi, here's my attempt which I used to install couple of 2009.06 SPARC servers last week. It is not the most cleaned one, but it should include all drivers and some part of the storage stuff which I thought were suitable for my use cases. I think you can describe it with these: > basic libs > basic system tools (IPS, ZFS, DTrace, Zones) > shells (sh,bash) > basic network utils > basic servers (sshd, sendmail) But these aren't so minimalistic for my opinion :) > some programming tools (gcc/SUNWspro, make, jds build > environment (is it available as IPS package?)... I think my root fs became something like 950 MB with that manifest, which was good enough for me.
