There is not much to report. It's been investigated, and it isn't clear that the business case justifies much immediate investment. It's not high on our priority list to spend much time on it--there are more pressing angles to work on to move OpenSolaris Install foward. I am not aware of a single preso with deep booting information. The closest I know of would be a preso on using ZFS root made at FROSUG by Lori Alt (Google it). Eric
