Hi,

This has been bugging me for a couple of days now, so any help
would be greatly appreciated.

I've built an ISO using dc. It boots fine, and gui-install starts
fine, but when I kick off the Install it fails almost immediately.
The log end with:

<OM Dec 2 17:32:47> Target Instantiation finished successfully
<OM Dec 2 17:32:47> Transfer process initiated
<OM Dec 2 17:32:47> CPIO transfer mechanism selected
<TRANSFER_MOD_E Dec 2 17:32:48> Command /usr/bin/gzcat
/.cdrom/platform/i86pc//boot_archive > /var/run/boot_archive failed
<TRANSFER_MOD Dec 2 17:32:48> TValueError or TABort
<OM Dec 2 17:32:48> Transfer failed with error 1
<GUI_E Dec 2 17:32:48> Installation failed in Transfer module
<GUI_E Dec 2 17:32:48> Transferring the files from the source failed.
Please see previous messages for more details

The image is correctly mounted at /.cdrom but there is no file
called boot_archive anywhere under that dir.

Does this ring any bells or does anyone have suggestions for
debugging further?

btw, I'm building the latest slim_source code, with libzfs.h and
zfs.h from Nv 128 installed and I'm running dc against a local
repo containing the b128 pkgs plus my slim_source pkgs.

Thanks,
- Dermot
