I just want to be clear about the details of the changes I'm making for
the .image_info file for the 2008.05 release are.
1) I will create .image_info in the proto directory
2) contents:
IMAGE_SIZE=<size in kbytes>
This size is gotten from a df -k of the proto area right after the
packages have been added to the area.
3) NOT doing:
- no compression ratio
- no addition of any of the compression parameters in the .conf file.
- will NOT compress the proto area
- will NOT have a list of any of the compressed files and how they
were compressed.
Any questions? Is that what y'all want? Remember, this is for the
2008.05 release. We may
(and probably will) add more for future releases.
