Hi Girts,

Apparently I was wrong about what the 'Openinstaller' is. It is the one
we used to call Purple Haze in house at Sun. The documentation is
located at:

https://openinstaller.dev.java.net/

From my understanding of this, the Openinstaller is really a framework
for development of an installer. Caiman isn't a framework, it is an
installer, and it is used in SXDE and Indiana.

Openinstaller allows for building an installer that runs on a live
system, that installs the specified products. The Caiman installer
doesn't necessarily run on a live system, and it installs Solaris
Express developer Edition.

Please read the documents and send questions if you have more.

Regards,
sarah
