Hi Girts, Apparently I was wrong about what the 'Openinstaller' is. It is the one we used to call Purple Haze in house at Sun. The documentation is located at:
https://openinstaller.dev.java.net/ From my understanding of this, the Openinstaller is really a framework for development of an installer. Caiman isn't a framework, it is an installer, and it is used in SXDE and Indiana. Openinstaller allows for building an installer that runs on a live system, that installs the specified products. The Caiman installer doesn't necessarily run on a live system, and it installs Solaris Express developer Edition. Please read the documents and send questions if you have more.
