AI using default manifest does not create/delete any partitions. It will 
use the existing Solaris fdisk partition if there is one. Otherwise the 
install will fail.

You need to create a custom manifest that instructs AI to delete the 
EXTLBA partition and create a Solaris partition for the whole disk. 
There are examples available in the AI document in chapter 6 at 
http://dlc.sun.com/osol/docs/content/dev/AIinstall/customai.html
