Hi all,
        To lessen the impact of having Python 2.6 transition work merging 
back in slim_source, please hold your changes to Python files in 
slim_source until the 2.6 versioning work is pushed in a week or two. 
Otherwise, please engage me or Ginnie to help coordinate the push, if it 
is an urgent matter.
