Hi Alok,
In the "Installation Media to be used" section, one of the bullet point is:
-------------
- The consensus was to create two new images. A text installer
for x86 geared towards servers and a text installer for
x86 geared towards desktops.
-------------
I don't think that's accurate. The 2 new images are images with the
"server payload".
1 of the new image is the sparc image with the server payload, and the
other new
image is the x86 image with the server payload. "The text installer for
x86 geared towards
desktop", if supported, will not appear in a new image. It will appear
in the
existing LiveCD image.
Also, I think it would be good in your notes to summarize the 5
different images
types we will be delivering, what are the installers bundled in each of
these image types,
and whether they will be cpio-based or IPS based installation. For
cpio-based installation,
it would also be useful to indicate what the payload will be.
Thanks,
--Karen
