The text installer project will be responsible for the UI changes to handle extended partitions, but there is a dependency on this (extended partition) project for the underlying library changes. There is also the expectation that the text installer will provide similar capability to the GUI installer wrt panel/screen functionality. I second Jan's idea to add text install and AI changes to the out of scope list, to clarify the boundaries.
