Sure, for example removing the same blocker from wanboot, as well as a few desktop related things which prevent you from listening to audio cd's. I believe it is related to default compiler flags from now optimize for v9a or higher, rather than for plain v9 withouth VIS (same applies to v8plusa or higher vs. plainv8plus).
