While not related to AI, I'm running into the same error message (probably through a different path)
After receiving advice from Msrs. Miner and Lagasse, I've used DC to put together a small OpenSolaris distro that clocks in at around 131MB in size. However, when I boot the liveCD ISO that DC produced, it'll boot and then halt with the same error that Larry is running into here. A prompt for a administrative user and password results. I've explicitly made sure the console-login service is set to on in my finalizer script that covers SMF, but I'm not quite sure what sort of condition would trigger this error. TIA for any hints /dale On Jan 9, 2009, at 8:59 PM, larry wrote: > After configured opensolaris AI (automated install) server by > following the instruction from > http://dlc.sun.com/osol/docs/content/2008.11/AIinstall/scenario.html > , I have two ai_client systems both showing the following messages > on screen while installing osol-2008.11 from the AI server: > > ============================================== > SunOS Release 5.11 Version snv_101b 64-bit > Copyright 1983-2008 Sun Microsystems, Inc.
