Hi John,

It appears that you only have one BE and since it's activate and booted you 
can't rename it. Based on this, no this is not a bug since you can't rename the 
active BE.

One way to rename this BE is to create a temporary BE (for example beadm create 
tempBE) and boot to that BE then rename opensolaris-4, activate it, reboot to 
it 
and remove the temporary BE.
