I am not sure, if there is still possibility to add release notes
for 2008.11 release.
If it is still possible, could you please add release notes for couple
bugs which were recently filed ?

pkg(1) refuses to uninstall packages, if system was installed from
global live CD
Description:
If installation was done using global version of live CD (containing all
supported languages), pkg(1) command refuses to remove any package from
installed system displaying following message:
~$ pfexec pkg uninstall SUNWswmt
Creating Plan \pkg: Cannot remove
'pkg:/SUNWswmt at 0.5.11,5.11-0.101:20081119T230254Z' due to
the following packages that depend on it:
pkg:/slim_install at 0.1,5.11-0.101:20081119T235636Z
Workaround:
* Remove slim_install from installed system
$ pfexec pkg uninstall slim_install
After that pkg will allow to remove other packages.

5588 Can't su to root from jack when observing automated installation on
client side
Title:
Can't use su(1M) to obtain root privileges in automated installer
Description:
When using automated installer for installation of OpenSolaris, user can
login to the console in order to observe the installation process or reboot
the system after the installation is done.
It is possible login either as regular user (user name jack, password jack)
or root (with password opensolaris). Currently, when logged in as jack,
su(1M) doesn't allow user to obtain root privileges.
Workaround:
* login as root from console (with password opensolaris)

languages,
it only offers one Territory
Title:
live cd with primary languages contains default locales only
Description:
Due to the space limitation, only default territory can be selected
in the installer on language screen when using live cd with primary
languages.
Workaround:
* use global live cd for the installation
