You're right, it's not obvious, but it is easy once you know.  If you 
look closely at the Product drop-down, it lists all products from all 
classifications.  Pick "opensolaris" (and make any other changes such as 
checking "Reset Assignee to default" and remove the original CC address) 
then save the bug; you'll get a new page prompting you to select the 
right component within the opensolaris product before the bug is saved.
