Why does the text-based installer need to diverge? Should not the same reasonings apply (largely) to the text installer as they do to the GUI installer? That is, do you really want to revisit configuration hell in the install process? Duplicating functionality already provided by the system, or that really belongs at first boot seems like a dangerous road... -- Shawn Walker
