Hi Calum,

Certainly a reasonable suggestion. My primary concern was that the 
installer exit back to a short "task menu" similar to what is used on 
the legacy text installer - the task menu is used to start the 
installer, run an ITU-like function, or enter the shell. I talked with 
the developers and they feel that it is possible to enable the user to 
review the log directly from the "failed" screen and then return to the 
this task menu so we will work to implement your suggestion.
