Talking to Tim Foster, we found that the sparc assembler usr/bin/as is non-redistributable.
cat common/SUNWsprot package SUNWsprot classification "System/Core" import SUNWsprot # BEGIN NON-REDISTRIBUTABLE $(sparc_ONLY)drop usr/bin/as $(sparc_ONLY)drop usr/ccs/bin/as # END NON-REDISTRIBUTABLE end package Theres a bunch of other bits non-redistributable too. I know theres plans for an encumbered repo, but theres not many packages in there as yet. Are there plans to get things like usr/bin/as in there too ? Sean McGrath stated: < < We've installed some sparc machines here with the AI image osol_0906-106a < and have tried out some benchmarks.
