Test details:
- laptop with 280GB disk. approx layout:
254 GB Windows
10 GB Windows Recovery partitions
14.65 GB free space
Before applying fix:
- run install
- after TI has run, run format and examine slice table:
0 1-1911 14.64 GB 1911/0/0
2 0-36477 279.44 GB 36478/0/0
8 0-0 7.84 MB 1/0/0
After applying fix:
- run install
- after TI has run, run format and examine slice table:
0 1-1911 14.64 GB 1911/0/0
2 0-1911 14.65 GB 1912/0/0
8 0-0 7.84 MB 1/0/0
Repeated test in VM with 16GB virtual disk with 8GB
existing NTFS partition: same result.
