Thanks Karen, the user apparently requires it to test their product, as
it is the released version. I have successfully installed a more recent
build but I got this request specifically for the released build.
Any ideas how I might go about troubleshooting this?

Executing the installboot command by itself does indeed fail with a
core dump. My system is using c3t1d0s0 for a root drive.
The auto-installer service is in maintenance mode and the log
indicates that it "couldn't find property 'general/install_debug' for
instance 'svc:/application/auto-installer:default'."
Any suggestions?
