Experts,
we have a partner who needs to pack / unpack the
solarismisc.zlib file on Solaris 11 - the partner has
found that:
- root_archive unpack gives:
size before: 20MB
size after: 204MB
- root_archive pack gives errors and size of 27MB
- cannot mount newly packed.zlib file
- mkisofs creates mountable zlib but no compression
what are the recommended steps to unpack, then pack
and achieve proper unpacking and compression?
is this a known issue in Solaris 11?
