If your virtualbox is configured for UEFI mode, don't do that. That
disables
the old VESA BIOS support the VESA driver needs. (You need to use the
VirtualBox guest additions driver to be able to drive the display in
that mode,
but that's not bundled with the OS in build 14.)
If it's not that, then I don't know of any reported issues and would
have to
recommend filing a bug so one of our driver folks can look into it.
