/etc/defaultrouter is a way you can configure default routes. Whether
that will work for you or not, I can't say.

Hi all,
Last piece of the puzzle here.
I'm trying to identify how to set the AI boot CD to "know" it's IP
default route addresses when it first boots. This is not for
post-install, that's all fine and working. I need to be able to boot the
AI CD without it sending out a DHCP request, but instead have
preconfigured network addressing.
I have been hunting in all the XML files that get placed on the AI ISO,
and I've got a horrible feeling that what I need to configure lies
buried within the solaris.zlib miniroot - which would mean I would need
to use distribution-constructor to make my custom boot ISO every time,
just to get a static IP on the boot CD. Which would be a real pain,
because distribution-constructor takes a very long time indeed (several
minutes) compared to running mkisofs on a bunch of prepared files
(fractions of a second)...
Is there any way around this problem at all? Can I get what I need done
without having to use distro_const ?
Many thanks in advance..!
