Howdy,
I was looking at automating some of our AI installs and noticed that the
default/example AI manifests don't match the schema for package formats.
AI Example: <name="[email protected]#"/>
However, from the PKG documentation,
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23824_01/html/E21802/ghyer.html#gkkct
the version schema should have 4 parts, Component version, Build
version, Branch version and Time Stamp.
So the AI example is missing the Build version and should be formatted
as such: [email protected],5.11-0.build#
Both seem to work, however, I'm concerned that one is incorrect and
cease to function at some point in time.
Which one is correct and why?
