In fact, the best choice -- as you've mentioned in Cairo-Dock's help --
is to use Systray detached from the dock. Then, with a proper setting of
Compiz's widget layer plugin, it could be, for example, just a matter of
right clicking on the screen sides for the systray to show up.

In this way, Cairo-Dock's systray is the best because (1) it hides the
ugly systray icons; and (2) it shows them easily when required. BTW, the
difficulties I've mentioned in my other bug report don't occur anymore,
i.e., the systray is activated from the start without any need to un-
hide it once :)

Bug description:
This can hardly be a bug report but rather a suggestion (excuse me but I found
no other way to tell you about it).

The systray applet, when on the dock, is good for hiding the several icons
which has gone to the system tray. Unhiding them is a simple matter of (left)
clicking. But the systray applet on the dock would be easier to use if the
systray dialog could be hidden ALSO by left clicking and not by middle
clicking. I've seen that this is the case with the terminal applet.

Thanks.
