Cake is changing everyday, the manual will almost always lag behind the
development. This is why the inline documentation/API is more up to
date than the manual.
As Cake is no finished software, try not to rely on the manual alone,
but let the code and the API be your guide as well ;)

P.S.: The example code from the manual is not incorrect afaik, just
incomplete, as it does not show all of the attributes - that's where
you have to look for other information.
