You do have two options:
1. Edit `app/config/core.php`, and replace
//date_default_timezone_set('UTC');
with
date_default_timezone_set('Europe/Paris');
or whatever timezone you are actually in.
2. Edit your `php.ini` and search for `date.timezone` and configure the
timezone on your server.
