normally i let cake create links via $html->link. But i've run into a situation, where i need to hardcode the opening and closing <a> tag, coz there's a couple of lines being output in between, which i want to link as a whole.
How do i assemble a proper link url ? I tried to use the const CAKE, which evaluates to "cake/" in my dev environment. <a href="<? echo CAKE; ?>articles/view/<? echo $article['Article'] ['id']?>" style="text-decoration:none; color:#000000;"> blah blah blah </a> this leads to obvious wrong links like this: http://localhost/cake/index.php/articles/cake/articles/view/51 It seems that CAKE is replaced by "/cake/index.php/articles/cake/" can u help ? jyrgen --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Cake PHP" group.
