Hi, I'm an avid cakePHP developper working alone doing client work for various clients. I find myself often writing common components or writing widgets and blocks of functionality that I think could be used by the community but I personally lack the man-power to build them to completion.
I have a ton of great ideas and I'd like to assemble a team of people in the same boat as me to put our minds together and tackle these problems together, with the shared benefit of opening up the code and making it available to the group and eventually the public (via the bakery, etc..). I know I'm vague on the details, but is anybody interested in putting our minds together and assembling a virtual team of developpers? I'm thinking we could communicate via IM and skype to get things done. If you're interested, drop me an email and I'll delve into my specific coding ideas if you're interested. I also have an article in the bakery awaiting approval that will further my cause, as it's a solution for collaborative component-building in cakePHP. I'll post the link when it gets approved. In the meantime, please get in touch with me and let's bake up a storm!! </cheese> -Ed --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Cake PHP" group.
