The easiest way is to add some extra routes in the app/config/
routes.php

In cake 1.2:
Router::connect('/about', array('controller' => 'pages', 'action' =>
'display', 'about'));

In cake 1.1
$Route->connect('/about', array('controller' => 'pages', 'action' =>
'display', 'about'));
