Felix at debuggable.com created a fixturize shell for CakePHP.  I
suggest you check it out.

I just submitted a patch to it so it creates the fields and allows you
to specify a limit to the number of records to copy from the
database.  If he hasn't patched his copy yet, let me know and I'll
send you the diff.
