Ah, indeed - I'm still fiddling with that part of my app's schema, and am very new to Cake/PHP/web apps, so am relying heavily on scaffolding. I have tried the debugkit component in a bake-created controller (no scaffolding) and the debugkit toolbar stuff is showing up, but inline on the page (after my content but before the SQL log).
