Hello all! As I didn't find any simple attachment component for CakePHP, I started one, based on sabbour's code[2].
It encapsulates file upload and thumbnailing logic, so as to have a clean controller handling files. It uses the file system, but I'll improve it to also support DB uploads, so as to password protect them.
