Yes that was what I meant, but I probably wasn't clear enough. But I don't understand why it should do even that. clearCache() with no filename does that already. Why would I want the "fallback" behavior of - if 'cachefile' does not exist then delete every other cache file - in the view directory of-course. I just don't get it since it forces most calls to the function to be wrapped in an if- clause checking if the cache exists.
