Hi there BearState, Any chance you could expand on what you discovered about httpd.conf and mod_rewrite.so. I am another NOOB working through the same book and am seeing similar problems.
I had similar experiance with both the 1.2 Blog Tutorial and the initial exercise in another book "CakePHP Application Development". I don't understand how apache is surposed to find urls that patently do not exist. I must be missing something!!
