I made my own helper to check if a user is logged in. When I add the helper to the appcontroller rather than to each individual controller it throws back:
Notice (8): Undefined property: View::$Form [APP\views\users \login.ctp, line 3] Fatal error: Call to a member function create() on a non-object in C: \wamp\www\cl\app\views\users\login.ctp on line 3 My login.ctp file is this: <h2>Login</h2> <?php echo $this->Form->create('User', array('url' => array('controller' => 'users', 'action' =>'login'))); echo $this->Form->input('User.username'); echo $this->Form->input('User.password'); echo $this->Form->end('Login'); ?> What is causing this?
