I'm using the bakery (you mean the cake bake command line, do you?) at the beginning of projects... afterwards I'm normally faster just copy/pasting the files I need... I suggest you learn using it, because in the beginning it's quite useful to get working code from which you can learn a lot. And by the way it's really easy to use.
