Hi, As I already mentioned "You don't need to delete flash message in session explicitly, $this->Session->flash() does it automagically.", the message doesn't appear after page refresh.
In the first message you mentioned "But when I go after the edit to the details view and back to the index view it gives me the message 'your job has been updated'." and now you are asking "How can I refresh the page to remove the flash message from the page?". So, I am confused about what exactly you need. Please be specific about your problem.
