BUTTERMILK CHOCOLATE CAKE
2 c flour 1 c butter
2 c sugar 1 c water
1 t soda 2 eggs
1 t cinnamon 1/3 c buttermilk
4 T cocoa 1 t vanilla
Mix flour, sugar soda and cinnamon in bowl. In saucepan mix cocoa,
butter and water. Bring to a boil. Pour over flour mixture and mix well.
Mix eggs, buttermilk and vanilla in measure cup, add to batter, mix
well. Bake on floured and greased cookie pan for 15 minutes at 400 degrees.
BUTTERMILK CHOCOLATE FROSTING
1/2 c buttermilk 16 ounces powdered sugar
1/2 c butter 1 c walnuts
4 T cocoa 1 t vanilla
In saucepan combine buttermilk, butter and cocoa. Bring to boil. Remove
from heat, add powdered sugar, walnuts and vanilla. Pour over hot cake.
