Hello Morgen / Andre (and Friends:) ,
Following Morgen's advice, i looked for errors that seemed fatal and i found the following in my error log: 2011-01-14 19:44:33-0400 [-] [mailgateway] 2011-01-14 19:44:33-0400 [PooledMemCacheProtocol,client] [twistedcaldav.directory.appleopendirectory.OpenDirectoryRecord#debug] OpenDirectory digest authentication failed with: 2011-01-14 19:44:33-0400 [-] [mailgateway] Nodename: /Local/Default 2011-01-14 19:44:33-0400 [-] [mailgateway] Username: com.apple.calendarserver 2011-01-14 19:44:33-0400 [-] [mailgateway] Challenge: Digest realm="/Search", nonce="634469164477634627827555075043972800465003746912997175983", algorithm=md5 2011-01-14 19:44:33-0400 [-] [mailgateway] Response: Digest username="com.apple.calendarserver", realm="/Search", nonce="634469164477634627827555075043972800465003746912997175983", uri="http://localhost:62310/inbox", response="36cc063091cd1e796bd906f36e804608",algorithm=md5 2011-01-14 19:44:33-0400 [-] [mailgateway] Method: POST Here is what i did after i observed this error, I re-created the already deleted keychain entry named com.apple.servermgr_calendar , with user account: com.apple.calendarserver account password: myownpassword. Then I accessed the system user com.apple.calendarserver in Local/Default Directory Node using Workgroup Manager and edit the password to: myownpassword , to matches the one i put in the prior mentioned keychain entry. Restarted everything. Still to no avail i continue to get the following stream of seemingly fatal messages in my error log: 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [-] [mailgateway] 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [PooledMemCacheProtocol,client] [twistedcaldav.directory.appleopendirectory.OpenDirectoryRecord#debug] OpenDirectory digest authentication failed with: 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [-] [mailgateway] Nodename: /Local/Default 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [-] [mailgateway] Username: com.apple.calendarserver 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [-] [mailgateway] Challenge: Digest realm="/Search", nonce="482677882815319389550998222586272904382839428645299019959", algorithm=md5 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [-] [mailgateway] Response: Digest username="com.apple.calendarserver", realm="/Search", nonce="482677882815319389550998222586272904382839428645299019959", uri="http://localhost:62310/inbox", response="cad9e1be2790f3dc5249b44c1134f49a",algorithm=md5 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [-] [mailgateway] Method: POST 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [-] [mailgateway] 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [-] [mailgateway] 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [PooledMemCacheProtocol,client] [twistedcaldav.directory.digest.DigestCredentialsMemcache#debug] Getting Cache Token for '913836199963591220574456919125041858117512362067706963227' 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [-] [mailgateway] 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [PooledMemCacheProtocol,client] [twistedcaldav.memcachepool.MemCachePool#debug] Busied client: <twistedcaldav.memcachepool.PooledMemCacheProtocol instance at 0x10211dfc8> 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [-] [mailgateway] 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [PooledMemCacheProtocol,client] [twistedcaldav.memcachepool.MemCachePool#debug] Clients #free: 0, #busy: 1, #pending: 0, #queued: 0 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [-] [mailgateway] 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [PooledMemCacheProtocol,client] [twistedcaldav.memcachepool.MemCachePool#debug] Freed client: <twistedcaldav.memcachepool.PooledMemCacheProtocol instance at 0x10211dfc8> 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [-] [mailgateway] 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [PooledMemCacheProtocol,client] [twistedcaldav.memcachepool.MemCachePool#debug] Clients #free: 1, #busy: 0, #pending: 0, #queued: 0 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [-] [mailgateway] 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [PooledMemCacheProtocol,client] [twistedcaldav.directory.digest.DigestCredentialsMemcache#debug] Setting Cache Token for '913836199963591220574456919125041858117512362067706963227' 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [-] [mailgateway] 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [PooledMemCacheProtocol,client] [twistedcaldav.memcachepool.MemCachePool#debug] Busied client: <twistedcaldav.memcachepool.PooledMemCacheProtocol instance at 0x10211dfc8> 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [-] [mailgateway] 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [PooledMemCacheProtocol,client] [twistedcaldav.memcachepool.MemCachePool#debug] Clients #free: 0, #busy: 1, #pending: 0, #queued: 0 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [-] [mailgateway] 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [PooledMemCacheProtocol,client] [twistedcaldav.memcachepool.MemCachePool#debug] Freed client: <twistedcaldav.memcachepool.PooledMemCacheProtocol instance at 0x10211dfc8> 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [-] [mailgateway] 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [PooledMemCacheProtocol,client] [twistedcaldav.memcachepool.MemCachePool#debug] Clients #free: 1, #busy: 0, #pending: 0, #queued: 0 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [-] [caldav-8009] [AuthorizedHTTPGetter,client] [twistedcaldav.scheduling.imip#error] Could not do server-to-imip request : <twistedcaldav.scheduling.imip.ScheduleViaIMip object at 0x102429a10> Mail gateway not able to process reply; could not authenticate user com.apple.calendarserver with calendar server 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [-] [caldav-8009] [AuthorizedHTTPGetter,client] [twistedcaldav.scheduling.scheduler.ScheduleResponseQueue#error] Error during PUT for mailto:[email protected]: None 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [-] [caldav-8009] [AuthorizedHTTPGetter,client] [twistedcaldav.method.put_common#debug] Rollback: will create new destination /Library/CalendarServer/Documents/calendars/__uids__/10/AA/10AA9E36-FD9A-48F3-9F99-288C88ECA63F/calendar/3BB9DA9B-336C-41EF-80EB-B0D5DF7738DD.ics 2011-01-16 10:58:03-0400 [-] [caldav-8009] [AuthorizedHTTPGetter,client] [twisted.web2.dav.fileop#info] Writing to file /Library/CalendarServer/Documents/calendars/__uids__/10/AA/10AA9E36-FD9A-48F3-9F99-288C88ECA63F/calendar/3BB9DA9B-336C-41EF-80EB-B0D5DF7738DD.ics Perhaps someone can shed some light on this bad behavior?
